Meeting the Family

Scene: Madison Square Park. I was about to meet the family that I was gonna live with for the next 12 Months. I was really excited, but mostly nervous. Only the mother L and the youngest Boy J picked me up. J of course, said hi and smiled shyly. L hugged me in a nice and friendly way. We immediately got to the street where L stopped a taxi. My first cab ride in New York City. Gotta tick that off my bucket list...
The conversation wasn't linguistic highfalutin, but nice and floating. Then L got called from work. Everything I heard was: business business numbers numbers business. Sounds kinda cool when you're  in New York, right?
So we headed to L's office because she had to do one or two things. The office was in the twelfth floor, so you had a pretty good view of the streets of New York. One or two important calls, a long queue and an apple later we drove towards New Jersey. When we arrived at the house I got to know R, my host father, T the bigger brother of J for which I had to care for as well, JJ the even bigger brother and C the lovely Dog of the family. She is big and likes to chew everything that gets in her sight. seriously, EVERYTHING.
They also call her puppy, although she's bigger than 10 puppies. I like her.
T is really funny. His mom L used to say he's a "little" comedian. He likes to kick my butt at the xbox. He's obviously cheating...
J is a sweet little boy who still misses his previous Au Pair. He's really advanced for his age. He just needs more time to get used to my presence.
JJ is at my age. We have the same taste for music. He's like 6'2" approx 190 cm. I hope my growing phase isn't over yet. I keep my fingers crossed...

L. told me they were about to move inside Montvale. We would live for one last week in the old house which was huge, then we would move to another place that would serve as a transition to the place they actually wanted to move to. The People who bought the house wanted to move in as fast as possible, so my host parents decided to rent a house inside Montvale as a transition.
Unfortunately, unpack wasn't worth it so I had to live out of my luggage that week. But worse things could have happened so, whatever.
The House we're moving out of

Next week I will upload lots of photos, because I will be on vacation on the cayman islands... so stay up to date ;)
